4. No Data Storage or Transmission

A core principle of PasswordIdeas is user privacy and security. All password creation, analysis, and verification activities take place entirely on the client-side within your web browser.

We do not store, log, or transmit any passwords, passphrases, or other sensitive data.

In the case of the Password Leak Checker, only a partial hash (first 5 characters of a SHA-1 hash) of your password is sent to a trusted third-party API (e.g., Have I Been Pwned), ensuring your full password never leaves your device.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. While we strive for accuracy and reliability, we make no guarantees that:

  • The tools are error-free or uninterrupted;
  • Any generated passwords or passphrases are immune to all forms of attack;
